Not Much Sewing

Not much sewing has been going on here. Lots of other projects have taken precedence. A major plumbing malfunction was one of them. But I did get the baby quilt done for our neighbors grandbaby, just in time too. the baby is due any day. I took photos outside and inside, I have to say the true colors are some where in between.

A peek at the backing fabric. I just did a loopy meander for the quilting.

26 more Diamond Tile blocks kitted up. I sure hope I have some sewing time soon!

I did do a little online shopping. This is a great book for hand piecing, and she shows how to press each block too.

I purchased this pattern after seeing Gretchen's version HERE. Her quilt is just beautiful!

I got to spend some time with my youngest son and this little Cutey Patootie over the weekend!

So I have done a little blog reading just recently and there have been lots of comments about comments. Bloggers have been saying that they no longer come to your email. I wonder why they changed things? It was working just fine for us. I saw a suggestion to leave a comment on your own blog and then request to get notifications of other comments. Well I guess I will see how that works out.
